How are the investments legally structured?

By participating, you appoint Pacific Trustees (regulated by MAS) as a bare trustee to hold the investments on your behalf under a nominee account structure. In other words, Pacific Trustees will be the nominee shareholder in the funds for shares held on behalf of all StashAway Private Credit investors.

In turn, the fund in question will be the nominee shareholder in the companies for shares held on behalf of all investors in the fund. Pacific Trustees will retain a ledger with all of your holdings.
