What if I forgot to include the unique reference code when I made a deposit?
If the transfer was from an account under your name, we will be able to manually link it to your StashAway account. Once we receive it, we will send you a receipt confirmation, either on the same day or the next business day.
To avoid this issue for future transfers, kindly add us as a payee and include your unique reference code in Initials/ Message/ Reference/Description/My Name field as part of payee setup.
Once this is done, subsequent deposits will reflect your unique reference code. We are then able to link your funds to your StashAway account promptly, expediting the investment process.
You can view our transfer instructions by going to your mobile app and clicking the "Three horizontal lines" on the top left of the Home page> Select "Transfer funds" > Then click "Put money in" > Choose between “Personal account” or “SRS account” > Then select "eGIRO or Manual Deposit" > Edit "Deposit plan"> "Deposit Instructions".
For the web app, you can click the "Manage Deposits" tab> Then select "Personal Account"> Edit "Deposit Plan" > "Deposit Instructions."
