Frequently Asked Questions

No. Once you lock in your guaranteed rate, it’ll remain fixed throughout the lock-in period. But until then, the portfolio’s rate can change daily.

You won’t be able to top up or withdraw from a locked Simple Guaranteed portfolio for the/during the lock-in period (which is 1/3/6/12 months). Therefore, whatever amount you invest will remain fixed during the lock-in period.

Alternatively, you can always create an additional Simple Guaranteed portfolio and have multiple portfolios earning returns at the same time. At the end of the lock-in period, you’ll be able to top up or reduce your investment amount and create another Simple Guaranteed portfolio.

No, you can transfer any amount starting from as low as $1. Whatever amount you choose, just make sure that you won’t need it during the lock-in period.

There are a few key differences between a classic fixed deposit account at a bank and Simple Guaranteed.

We take a small spread, which is the difference between the yield that we get from the bank and the one we deliver to you. This spread isn’t an additional fee to you, and you’ll still get the guaranteed rate. In other words, the rate you see is the rate you get. This spread helps us stabilise the rate, which fluctuates, and cover the costs of bringing the product to you.
